~ Judi Silvano ~ Judi Silvano celebrates music wherever she goes! Her imagination is evident on her 10 recordings as a leader, including her latest release Indigo Moods (2012), which features a relaxed Silvano interpreting her favorite well-known songs in an intimate trio setting with just piano and trumpet.

Silvano has toured and recorded with such jazz greats as Joe Lovano, Rufus Reid, Ingrid Jensen, Mal Waldron, Dick Oatts, Kenny Werner, Michael Abene, and Bobby Few. She has been voted among the year’s Top 10 Jazz Vocalists in DownBeat Magazine Readers Polls four times, has been awarded three Grants from Meet the Composer and the NY State Council on the Arts, and was voted the Best Jazz Vocalist in the Hudson Valley. In addition, Silvano leads education workshops in music and dance for all ages, teaches international vocal masterclasses, and composes, in addition to practicing her lifelong passion for painting and gardening.
