Czech born pianist Jiri Nedoma, now living in Boston, will perform his original music, preludes of George Gershwin, Jaroslav Jezek’s Bugatti Step, jazz standards from the Great American songbook and more. Jiri Nedoma is a former member and soloist of the Czech Radio Bigband. With degrees from the Berklee College Of Music and New England Conservatory Jiri decided to pursue his music career in the Greater Boston area, where he performs regularly and works as studio musician and a piano instructor. Jiri studied with such renowned jazz musicians as Joanne Brackeen, Hal Crook, Fred Hersch and Jerry Bergonzi, to name a few and worked and recorded with Grammy-winner Terri Lyne Carrington, singers Gabrielle Goodman, Nadia Washington, Albino Mbie and trombonist Hal Crook, among others.
